The Vangeline Theater, a New York City-based dance company deeply rooted in the Japanese Butoh tradition and owned by dancer and choreographer Vangeline herself, premiers a dancing debut entitled “5th” which consists of five dances that implement the Japanese philosophy of void, water, earth, wind and fire.
