Suffolk County police stop Brooklyn-to-Hamptons cocaine pipeline
BROOKLYN/LONG ISLAND — A PAIR OF DRUG DEALERS WHO SMUGGLED COCAINE AND MDMA from Brooklyn to the Hamptons in Suffolk County were caught by police, and prosecutors say that they overcharged their customers three times the normal street value of the lethal substances. The dealers were indicted on Aug. 29, and are held on $2 million cash bond. The Suffolk County police’s investigation resulted in the recovery of large quantities of drugs — more than 1,000 individual packages of cocaine — in a Brooklyn apartment, a home in East Hampton and stashed in ‘traps’ made by Alexandr Dyatchin and Michael Khodorkovsky. The indictment of the Brooklyn duo was part of a larger “Massive Drug Takedown” in Suffolk County.
The duo used secret compartments or ‘traps’ in various vehicles to hide and transport their product to wealthy customers in the Eastern portion of Long Island, according to the New York Post.
