Two women wanted in subway steal

The New York City Police Department is looking for two women wanted in connection with a grand larceny in the confines of the 78th Precinct on Tuesday, November 11.

At about 7:15 p.m., an unknown woman allegedly snatched a cell phone out of the hand of a 46-year-old woman as she sat on a southbound F train at the Fourth Avenue and Ninth Street station.

According to cops, the suspect – described as a black female, 16 to 19 years old with long braids – then passed the cell phone to another unidentified suspect, a white female, heavy set with blonde and red hair.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
