SUNSET PARK — ‘CITY OF YES for Housing Opportunity’ is the topic of Brooklyn Community Board 7’s joint Landmarks/Land Use and Housing committees meeting on Monday, June 3, at 6:30 p.m. This is a continuing discussion of the proposal, which includes a number of zoning reforms that would make it possible to build more housing in most neighborhoods by allowing more housing density if affordable, converting vacant commercial buildings to residential/shared housing, ending parking mandates for new buildings and numerous other changes. City of Yes for Housing Opportunity is one of three initiatives that the Adams administration says will support small businesses, create affordable housing and promote sustainability.
