Domenick Napoletano honored by Stars and Stripes Democratic Club

Domenick Napoletano, a past president of the Brooklyn Bar Association, was honored by the Stars and Stripes Regular Democratic Organization of the 49th Assembly District during its annual dinner at Sirico’s Catering Hall in Dyker Heights last Thursday.
Napoletano is also vice president of the Second Judicial District of the NYS Bar Association, and a past president of the Catholic Lawyers Guild of Kings County and the Columbian Lawyers Association of Brooklyn.
The other honorees included Wai-Yee Chan, director of Brooklyn Community Services’ Chinese-American Planning Council; Daniel Chen, president of Fushimi Group; Vincent LeVien, director of external affairs for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn; and Richard Russo, senior vice president and COO of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
“On behalf of our club officers and all club members, I would like to congratulate all the honorees,” said Irene Chu, president of Stars and Stripes. “Thank you for your dedication to our community and selfless contributions. It was truly my honor to have the opportunity to work with you.”
Napoletano, from the Law Office of Domenick Napoletano, handles mostly commercial litigation, but also does work with many community groups. Since he has no official ties to the Stars and Stripes Club, he explained that he was shocked that it decided to honor him.
“I was quite surprised that they did this,” he said. “The fact that they recognized the work that my practice does with community-based groups and individuals, I thought it was very nice and certainly didn’t expect it.”
