MANHATTAN — These days there’s power in queer cheer: Members of Gotham Cheer perform during the NYC Pride March, June 29, 2025, in New York. This adult cheerleading group does more than calisthenics performances; its members commit to outreach with many organizations, including Brooklyn Pride Center and God’s Love We Deliver.
Auditions are opening in August for the next season.

In 1999, he gave an interview to Lion’s Roar on his experiences and learning how to mature into the practice of mindfulness.

As of Sunday, two GOP Senators were holding out on the grounds that the spending cuts and the widened deficit would harm their respective states: Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky and Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina. Tillis, who was elected in 2014, announced he will not run for re-election amid the current political climate and after Trump threatened to mount a primary candidate against him.

Currently ranked No. 1, Sabalenka handily won the tournament’s first match and advanced to the second round, in which she will compete against the Czech Republic’s Marie Bouzková.
LONDON — Being seen but not heard — celebrities focus on the players: Actor Eddie Redmayne, rear, and Sir David Beckham sit in the Royal Box on Centre Court on day one at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships June 30, 2025.
Beckham, a former soccer champion, recently received knighthood from King Charles III in recognition of his services to sport and to charity.
