CYPRESS HILLS/EAST NEW YORK — THE NYPD is asking the public to help identify and track down two men wanted in connection with an attempted assault that occurred last month within the 75th Precinct in eastern Brooklyn.
Police received a report that, on Saturday, May 31, around 11 a.m., two unidentified individuals approached a man at the intersection of Barbey Street and Belmont Avenue. Surveillance video showed both assailants to be males, one of whom discharged a gun several times toward the victim. The two assailants then fled on foot westbound on Belmont Ave. The victim did not report any injuries.
