CLINTON HILL – A ROBBER STOLE around $900 from two people in Clinton Hill on Monday during a gunpoint stickup, police say.
At around 2 a.m. on Monday, July 13, at Franklin and Lexington avenues, an unknown man approached a 70-year-old woman and 68-year-old man and displayed a firearm, then forcibly removed a purse and wallet containing approximately $900. The robber then fled west on Quincy Street.
Surveillance footage released by police shows the suspect to have a dark complexion and a slender build. He was wearing light-colored jeans, a black sweatshirt and a black ballcap.
