NYC Children’s Services employee arrested for unlawful surveillance

CLINTON HILL — AN OFF-DUTY NYC EMPLOYEE was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 17, at 2:48 p.m. within the confines of Brooklyn’s 88th Precinct, which includes Clinton Hill and Fort Greene. According to police, Anuoluwa Olofin, a 26-year-old male employee of the NYC Administration for Children’s Services, was charged with unlawful surveillance in the second degree.

According to the NYS Senate, unlawful surveillance in the second degree includes using or installing an imaging device to surreptitiously view, broadcast or record a person dressing or undressing, or their sexual or other intimate parts without their knowledge or consent, at a place and time when they have a reasonable expectation of privacy, such as in a bedroom, restroom, changing room, fitting room, shower, etc.
