CLINTON HILL — TWO MEN, IDENTIFIED as Arturo Jose Rodriguez-Marcano, 30, and Enny DeJesus Urbina Mendez, 21, were shot and killed near a Clinton Hill migrant shelter in a night of violence Sunday, reports the New York Post. A third man, 59, is in critical condition after being shot in the head. Police are investigating whether the shootings are connected to a Venezuelan gang war. Witnesses said that the spree began around 11 p.m. on Sunday, when a passenger of a blue sedan began to fire into Steuben Park, striking Rodruigez Marcano before leaving trailed by a moped with two riders. Five minutes later, the moped stopped outside the shelter at 29 Ryerson Street, where the passenger jumped off and shot Mendez before getting back on and speeding away.

The moped reportedly struck another vehicle soon after and became disabled, leaving the driver to be arrested, but the passenger was able to escape. Police are searching for the man, who in surveillance footage appears to have short dark hair and a medium skin tone and was wearing a black Adidas shirt, black pants and black-and-white sneakers.
