Chinese Dragon food festival this weekend

PARK SLOPE — NEW YORK’S LARGEST Chinese food festival, Dragon Fest, is coming to 7th Avenue this weekend, bringing more than 100 different dishes from all across China to the streets of Park Slope. Highlights include soup dumplings, dragon’s beard candy, lotus root sandwiches, sugar-coated chestnuts, grilled cold noodles, iron plate tofu, fried skewers, milk cap tea and much more; traditional artisans will demonstrate crafts like molten sugar painting, highlighting the cultural underpinnings of China’s culinary traditions.

Brooklyn’s Dragon Fest will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 16, on 7th Avenue between 5th and 6th streets; the festival takes place weekly in new locations around the city.
