Sold out gala for Brooklyn’s oldest hospital attracts 650 guests and raises $1.33M

BROOKLYN MUSEUM — The grand Beaux-Arts Court of the Brooklyn Museum was the setting May 20 for the Founders Ball of Brooklyn’s oldest hospital. The Brooklyn Hospital Foundation celebrated the pivotal role played by The Brooklyn Hospital Center, founded in 1845, in service as Brooklyn’s “heart of healing.”

The event was sold out with 650 guests and raised $1.33 million for the hospital’s new Cardiac Cath Lab.

The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC) has achieved significant recognition for its innovative and compassionate approach to healthcare. According to the latest rankings from U.S. News & World Report, TBHC has been ranked a “Best Regional Hospital,” and seven of its programs were recognized for their excellence.
