Cyclone staff aims to top Seinfeld Night this season
Since the resurgence of minor league baseball in the mid-1990s, the staging of special events and promotions has become a part of the game to entice families and the occasional fan to come out to the ballpark.
Last season, the Cyclone staff hit a home run with a Seinfeld theme night that featured the sitcom’s infamous “Soup Nazi” along with contests that tested fans’ knowledge of the long-running show.
Displaying the two Golden Bobbleheads for best theme and best event for the 2014 Seinfeld Night, Cyclone Director of Communications Billy Harner stated, “These awards are a big honor for us since we beat out all the other minor league teams across the country. This is the equivalent of winning an Oscar.”
