Mass transit is your ticket to attend all things football this weekend
The MTA is altering its train, railroad and bus schedules in advance of February 2 in order to accommodate the festivities football fanatics are expected to attend, including the Big Game.
New York City Transit will be suspending Manhattan weekend track work during February 1 and 2, with the exception of the R train through the Montague Tube.
On Saturday, February 1, the MTA will run extra trains on the 1 line, and the S 42nd Street Shuttle will have a rush-hour level of service with three trains running to accommodate those who wish to visit Super Bowl Boulevard, a 13-block section of Broadway in Times Square that is expected to attract approximately 1,000,000 visitors, and where New York State will be strutting its stuff for visitors to see.
