Jumping into action after the storm, students at Saint Saviour High School in Park Slope collected 60 buckets filled with various cleaning supplies to donate to the victims of Hurricane Sandy.  Fifteen of the buckets were sent to the Red Cross in Staten Island through the organization “Open Doors and Open Windows.”

The coordination between Saint Saviour and “Open Doors and Open Windows” was organized by Sheila Scarlett, whose daughter is Saint Saviour High School senior Samantha Scarlett.

The remaining buckets went to the many Saint Saviour alumnae in affected areas of Brooklyn and Rockaway.
