The department’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating it as a possible bias crime.

The incident comes days after police said they were looking for two men connected to similar incidents nearby. Police released surveillance video showing one of the men spray-painting a wall.

A synagogue and five other buildings in the Borough Park neighborhood were defaced on Friday.
