The first person selected for the 2012 Kings County Supreme Court ‘Employee of the Year’ Award is Donna Cardone Anderson. She is an associate court clerk in the Civil Term’s Foreclosure Department, one of the busiest court parts in the city. Case Management Coordinator Eric Newton presented her with the award last week in a ceremony in the courthouse lobby.

Anderson is given a bouquet a flowers from Kings County Supreme Court Justice Betsy Barros, who is the chair of the Employee of the Year Committee. Each year the Employee of the Year Committee honors one Brooklyn court employee in each of four categories — (1) clerks, (2) court officers, (3) support staff and (4) chambers and law department. Anderson was selected in the “clerks” category

Anderson and fellow court employee Abby Adler get into the holiday spirit.
