LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Graffiti be gone

I was strolling down Third Avenue on Saturday and observed thatalmost every block from Ovington Avenue to 83 Street, there is newgraffiti on corner buildings. These are new and oversized graffiti(many as large as the size of a car), probably done on Fridaynight.

I am concerned that graffiti and gang are overtaking ourneighborhood, so I am writing this letter to you to raise myworries.

All the graffiti is on the side of the corner buildings — almostall on brick walls.

I grew up in Bay Ridge and I am sickened by what I saw today.
