Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez, alongsid Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez, alongside Community Board 18, the Jewish Association Serving the Aging, and the Hebrew Educational Society, joined forces in Canarsie for an #OlderAmericansMonth celebration on May 20. Together, they raised awareness and shared vital resources to protect older adults from scams, fraud, elder abuse, and other crimes.

More than 100 older adults came out to get informed, empowered and supported. 💪

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority Bridges The Metropolitan Transportation Authority Bridges and Tunnels said they found three peregrine falcon chicks hatched atop the Brooklyn tower of the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge on Friday.

Members of the MTA found the healthy baby birds inside a specially built nesting box. Two are females and were named Genevieve and Marcella, while the other is a male named Skyforger.
