    This year, the Brooklyn Heights Promenade — usua This year, the Brooklyn Heights Promenade — usually one of the best spots to watch the Macy’s fireworks — will be off-limits to the public and reserved exclusively for 4,000 city employees.
 The surrounding neighborhood will face major disruptions starting at 2 PM: 
🔒 Street closures
🪪 Mandatory ID checks for residents
🚫 No vehicle access in key areas

    Video surveillance cameras will be installed at tw Video surveillance cameras will be installed at two entrances to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade next month, thanks to funding from Councilmember Lincoln Restler’s office. Restler’s office provided $90,000 in funding, and staffers said they expect the cams to be installed next month. With its breathtaking protected views, the esplanade is often the site of film shoots and wedding proposals.
