RED HOOK — THE BROOKLYN MARINE TERMINAL’S public engagement process continues. The 122-acre waterfront project will have a significant impact on the future of Western Brooklyn from Atlantic Avenue to Red Hook, and the timeline has been extended. There will be two new presentations of the NYC Economic Development Corp.’s preferred plan, the first in May and the second (as yet unscheduled) in June. Each will include an in-person and virtual Zoom option.

The May in-person presentation takes place on May 8 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at P.S. 676, 27 Huntington St. The same presentation will be repeated virtually on Tuesday, May 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Both sessions will feature the EDC’s current preferred plan, resiliency and transportation planning, followed by a Q&A discussion with the project team.
