ATLANTIC AVENUE — The Atlantic Avenue BID (Business Improvement District), under the leadership of Executive Director Kelly Carroll, is launching ‘Atlantic After Hours,’ beginning Friday night, Aug. 4. While the remarkable assortment of great restaurants on Atlantic Avenue will be available and participating, primary focus will be on the art galleries. Staying open after normal business hours, the galleries will offer one-on-one conversations with the artists, food and drink, and even a bit of karaoke. Seven galleries, each of which brings vital cultural enrichment to Atlantic Avenue, will be offering special programs and welcoming events.

The following day, Saturday, Aug. 5, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., Kuki Tape Art and Maker Park Radio are taking over the traffic-free block of Hoyt Street, between Atlantic and State, to block show off their colorful tape designs and a live DJ set.
