BRAZIL — Golden lion tamarins: A group of golden lion tamarins was seen in a tree during an observation tour at a private partner property of the Golden Lion Tamarin Ecological Park, in the Atlantic Forest region of Silva Jardim, on Thursday. The park was part of the Golden Lion Tamarin Association’s effort to conserve this endangered species.

CROATIA — Supermoon: A supermoon rose behind a sculpture of Tomislav of Croatia, the first Croatian king, in downtown Zagreb, on Tuesday. The moon reached its full stage on Tuesday, during a phenomenon known as a supermoon because of its proximity to Earth.
