Obituary: Frank G. Guido
Frank G. Guido passed to Eternal Rest, peacefully at home at the age of 86 on April 25, 2022. He was the son of the late Raffaella “Ray” nee’ Sessa Guido and Albert Guido. He was predeceased by his wife Virginia Mary nee’ Pollio. He is the proud father of his son Albert, daughter Maria-Ray Guido and son in law Patrick DeSimone. He is the cherished grandfather of Frank Simon, Raffaella Cora, Virginia Mary Guido -DeSimone and the late Virginia Maria Guido. Mr. Guido was a graduate of Brooklyn Prep class of 1953, Villanova University class of 1957 and American Academy of Funeral Services class of 1959. He was the Proprietor of F.G. Guido Funeral Home . He was a developer of many Brooklyn Properties including the Norwegian Seamen’s Church. Mr. Guido was a longtime lover of the Art, Animals, a Horticulturist, an Historian and a True Man For All Seasons.
Wake will be held at F.G. Guido Funeral Home, 440 Clinton Street, Brooklyn, New York 11231, Saturday, April 30th and Sunday, May 1st.
Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Hearts and St. Stephen R.C. Church, 10:45 am Monday May 2nd.
Entombment to follow at Green-Wood Cemetery.
