Back home for a week, Jimmy Kimmel eats his way through Brooklyn

Jimmy Kimmel, in town for the annual Brooklyn live taping of his show, can’t get enough of the borough’s culinary scene. He already visited restaurants in Red Hook, Carroll Gardens and Bensonhurst.
Kimmel posted a photo on Tuesday from Bensonhurst fixture L&B Spumoni Gardens, looking satisfied behind an open box of crispy calzone. Next came the picture from Hometown Barbecue in Red Hook, flaunting a plate overflowing with brisket, mac n cheese, coleslaw and more. Page Six spotted the comedian digging in to more local eats at Frankies 457 Spuntino in Carroll Gardens on Wednesday night.
Kimmel, Brooklyn born and Brooklyn bred, certainly knows his way around his hometown eateries.
