Park Slope’s newest tourist attraction: Jimmy Kimmel’s Airbnb

If John Krasinski is known for one thing — besides that movie where he tiptoed around making “shh”-ing noises with Emily Blunt for 90 minutes — it’s the pranks he pulled off as Jim Halpert in “The Office.”
Now, the actor is taking a little inspiration from his character. During Jimmy Kimmel’s recent live taping in Brooklyn, Krasinski unveiled the latest in a series of pranks he and Kimmel have been playing on each other back and forth for years.
Krasinski turned Kimmel’s Airbnb in Park Slope into a full-on tourist attraction, complete with sign-spinners with “KIMMEL” cardboard cutout arrows, inflatable Christmas decorations and a gospel choir singing on the stoop.
Plastered across the top floor was a giant banner reading “Welcome Jimmy Kimmel, Who Is Renting This House!”
