One would think a bar with a maximum capacity of three people wouldn’t be very successful. However, Threesome Tollbooth, a bar inside a supply closet within a closed Italian restaurant in Bushwick, is sold out through the end of the month, according to Moneyish.

Prepaid reservations for parties of two start at $100 to $120 per person for a one-hour cocktail-tasting experience inside the wood-paneled mixology chamber. There’s no food, but there are between five and 12 “courses” of drinks. Phones and photo-taking aren’t allowed in the booth, said owner and bartender N.D. Austin, who said it’s all about being in the here and now.

Other bars with very limited capacity have sprung up throughout the city and other large urban centers, Moneyish wrote; and they also offer an intimate drinking experience, sometimes accompanied by finger food such as sushi and tapas.
