Police searching for man who shot 3 on Fulton Mall in Downtown Brooklyn
Sunny day, large lunchtime crowds, when shots rang out
Three people, including two innocent bystanders, were shot in broad daylight on a busy Downtown Brooklyn shopping street just after lunch hour on Friday, at roughly 1:45 p.m.
The shooting took place on Fulton Street near Gallatin Place in front of the GAP Outlet Store.
Police say an argument between a group of five people and a 28-year-old man may have led to the shooting. Following an exchange of words, one member of the group allegedly pulled out a pistol and shot the man, also shooting a 31-yer-old man happening by the scene and a 27-year-old woman who, according to NBC News, had just left a job interview.
