Crowds of guests stuffed into the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge all day Friday to enjoy Brooklyn’s largest food and beverage trade show, “Brooklyn Eats,” and explore food and drink vendors of all types.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. hundreds of vendors, supporters and elected officials joined at the annual “Brooklyn Eats” event that showcased buyers, distributors, restaurateurs and consumers in an effort to increase knowledge of the variety of Brooklyn foods.

For those with a business, “Brooklyn Eats” is free and for those that don’t, it is open to the public for a $10 fee.

Some of those that attended Friday were mayoral candidate, Nicole Malliotakis, Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce President Andrew Hoan, Councilmember Robert Cornegy and Assemblymember Joe Lentol.

News for those who live, work and play in Brooklyn and beyond

More than 100 exhibitors and 2,000 guests filled the crowd at last year’s event.

The trade show was co-sponsored by the New York State Legislature and the New York City Council.
