Christmas party has ‘Golden’ glow

The ballroom at the Bay Ridge Manor was packed Wednesday night as hundreds of people accepted an invitation from state Sen. Marty Golden (R-C-Bay Ridge-Southwest Brooklyn) and his wife Colleen Golden to help them celebrate the Christmas season. Sen. Golden, who hosts a Christmas Party every year, pulled out all the stops, making sure that the food and drinks were flowing all evening. He stood near the entrance to welcome guests as they arrived at the Manor. There were bars on both ends of the ballroom. The buffet service included pasta dishes, ham and hors d’oeuvres. The guests standing elbow to elbow in the crowded ballroom included civic and business leaders from all corners of Golden’s senate district, from Bay Ridge to Gerritsen Beach.
