NYPD: 70-year-old woman killed by hit-and-run MTA bus in Brooklyn

Police say a 70-year-old woman has been killed in a hit-and-run accident involving an MTA bus in Brooklyn.
The accident happened at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday in the Ocean Hill section.
Police say the victim was struck by a bus making a right turn as she tried to cross the street. They say the bus kept going.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity was not immediately released.
A spokeswoman for the MTA says the authority is investigating the accident.
