Full speed ahead.

The residential conversion of one of Red Hook’s most distinctive industrial buildings, 160 Imlay St., rolls on with the return of warm weather.

When we dropped by the other day, we could hear the buzz of construction machinery behind the shrouded walls of the ghost-white former New York Dock Co. building.

Developer Est4te Four is crafting 70 condos in the cast-in-place concrete structure, which is more than a century old.

This firm, which first gained prominence through its work in Milan, owns numerous Red Hook sites. See our past coverage to read about those other properties.
