Clouds will continue to increase through Monday afternoon. NOAA is predicting from 2 to 4 inches in the New York City area. Monday night’s low will hover around 13°F — and it will warm up to 25°F on Tuesday, with wind chill values between zero and 10.

Travel during Tuesday’s rush hour will be slippery. The NYC Office of Emergency Management has issued a travel advisory for the morning commute. Alternate Side Parking rules are suspended Tuesday; parking meter rules remain in effect.

NOAA warns people to protect against frostbite. In Coney Island on Monday, a man’s body was found on the boardwalk. Hypothermia is suspected, according to 1010WINS.

A record low temperature of 5°F was set at Kennedy airport on Monday at  6:58 a.m. This breaks the old record of 9 set in 2003.
