Two Brooklyn-based crime thrillers have been published by Minotaur Books.
“Among Thieves,” by John Clarkson, is about an ex-con who comes to the aid of a friend’s niece, only to find himself and his ex-con friends at the center of a web of crime that includes financial fraud, a Russian arms dealer and corrupt New York City cops.
The other Brooklyn-based crime thriller recently published by Minotaur Books is titled “Dead Red.” Written by Tim O’Mara, the book is one in a series of mystery novels featuring ex-cop-turned-teacher Ray Donne. In “Dead Red,” Ray looks into the death of a friend who had returned from a tour of duty in Iraq.
