The sixth annual T.E.A.L run set to raise awareness for ovarian cancer at Prospect Park
On your mark, get set, race… for a great cause. The annual Tell Every Amazing Lady (T.E.A.L.) Walk/Run is taking place in Prospect Park on Saturday, September 6.
The event is designed to raise awareness for ovarian cancer, a disease that ranks fifth in cancer deaths among women, according to the American Cancer Society.
“We are a Brooklyn based foundation,” said Pamela Esposito-Amery, co-founder, CEO, board president said of T.E.A.L. “This is an annual event. It’s our sixth year. We do a walk and a run. It’s a very family-oriented event. There is face painting, educational foods, and an athletic part of it.”
