No need to peek through the tiny windows in the construction fence now. The new apartment tower at 172 Montague St. sprang up into plain view seemingly overnight after demurely hiding for several months. Bonjour Capital is building the 19-story Brooklyn Heights residential tower. When can we find out how much the rents are going to be?

Hello World! The apartment tower at 172 Montague St. is now visible to passersby on Brooklyn Heights’ Numero Uno retail corridor.

The new apartment tower is at the end of Montague Street that isn’t landmarked. So it’s taller than buildings on the other blocks, visible to the right in this photo.

No one said this would be easy. The machinery required to work on the building is hogging a good portion of the street – to the great inconvenience of people who parked their cars in the apartment building to the left of the development.

Shoppers headed for the Garden of Eden food market got an eyeful of Brooklyn Heights’ new apartment-tower-in-the-making.

Here’s one last look for the real-estate obsessed.
