Art of Brooklyn Film Festival launches May 15
Focus on Brooklyn Filmmakers
The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival (AoBFF) launches its third annual festival on Wednesday, May 15, at two Brooklyn venues: St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights and St. Joseph College in Fort Greene.
The festival showcases emerging filmmakers who are Brooklyn-born, Brooklyn-based and Brooklyn-centric.
“That means cast or crew were born and raised here, or now live and work here,” according to AoBFF. “We also screen films from across the country and around the world that were shot in or inspired by Brooklyn. We welcome every community and zip code in Kings County to enter and attend the festival. “
The AoBFF plans to screen 40 premieres from May 15 – 19 at St. Francis College’s Founders Hall and Maroney Theaters (180 Remsen Street), and St. Joseph College’s Tuohy Hall Theater (245 Clinton Avenue).
