Man sought in attempted robbery of Boerum Hill bank

Another Downtown Brooklyn bank was almost robbed on Monday and police are asking for the public’s help in catching the suspect, seen above and described as a white male in his 30s, standing between 5’8″ and 5’11” tall, and weighing between 160-180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and dark sneakers.

The suspect is wanted for allegedly attempting to rob the Investors Bank at 399 Atlantic Avenue, at the intersection with Bond Street, at around 2:21 p.m. on Monday, January 28. He allegedly passed a note to the teller demanding money. However, the teller alerted a bank manager and the suspect fled empty-handed.
