New on Fulton: Armani, Nuevo Mexican eatery, dinner-and-a-movie
The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership (DBP) reports the following new retail store activity:
• Don Nico’s Flautas, operated by Nicola Maurello (who previously ran Pasticcio at Dekalb Market), will serve “nuevo Mexican fare” seven days a week from her food kiosk at Albee Square Plaza.
Open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and operating out of a converted 14-foot by 8-foot shipping container, the kiosk was designed by Katja Maas, and the signage is a collaboration with renowned street artist Steve Powers, who will be unveiling a series of text-based installations over the coming weeks.
