The largest cycling event in the U.S. is coming to Brooklyn this Sunday. Close to 32,000 riders will travel a 40-mile route spanning all five boroughs, with the longest routes in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

In Brooklyn, cyclists will cross the Pulaski Bridge, weave down through Williamsburg and the Navy Yard, eventually riding the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. Expect road closures and traffic delays.

Sponsored in part by the Department of Transportation and Bike New York, the tour promotes cycling in New York and gives riders the chance to ride in many areas normally closed off to bicycle traffic.
