“Socks 4 Tots” honored local lawyer Sanford Rubenstein (left) last week at the Copocabana in Midtown Manhattan for his work representing female victims of violence. Rubenstein said that he accepted the award “on behalf of the women I represent as an attorney, who have suffered violence at the hands of others.” Rubenstein, of 16 Court St., cited as examples Playboy centerfold Stephanie Adams, who won $1.2 million in her suit against the NYPD for an alleged assault, and reality TV star Jennifer Williams, who was allegedly assaulted while on the show “Basketball Wives.”
