Brooklyn Bus Driver Wins Public Service Award

The Daily News profiled Brooklyn bus driver Jefrick Dean, who has gotten almost 150 letters of commendation from riders over the years. Dean, who greets his riders in English, Spanish and Hebrew, has a near-perfect attendance record and is also an ordained minister. Dean, who drives the B25 bus, has been selected as the winner of the Sloan Public Service Award, which honors a public servant every year.
