Fans from coast to coast are putting on benefits for Jonathan Toubin, 40, a Brooklyn disc jockey who was pinned underneath a taxi in a freak accident in Portland, Ore. On Dec. 8, he was sleeping in his hotel room when a taxi that was out of control blasted into the building, trapping him under the front of the car as he lay in bed. Toubin is still in intensive care at a Portland hospital, according to The New York Times.
