Art moving and storage firm Cadogan Tate heads to Greenpoint
Eye On Real Estate
Greenpoint – it’s quite the haven for artists. Now a firm from London has picked it as a place to store art.
Art moving and storage company Cadogan Tate has rented a building at 301 Norman Ave. as its first Brooklyn location. The firm has facilities in Sunnyside and other nearby Queens sites.
“They need a high-quality, high-ceiling, high-security building,” said Jeffrey Unger, a director at Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, who represented landlord Barry Swidler in the deal. The ceilings are 26 feet high. Swidler is moving his company, Long Island Carpet Cleaners, out to make way for Cadogan Tate.
