Video surveillance cameras will be installed at tw Video surveillance cameras will be installed at two entrances to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade next month, thanks to funding from Councilmember Lincoln Restler’s office.

Restler’s office provided $90,000 in funding, and staffers said they expect the cams to be installed next month.

With its breathtaking protected views, the esplanade is often the site of film shoots and wedding proposals. But it has also been the scene of some disturbing incidents.
