Bridge Multicultural Project launches ‘Unity, Not Hate’ poster campaign

FLATBUSH — “UNITY, NOT HATE: Together We Build A United New York,” is the message being brought to schools and places of business around Flatbush, as part of The Bridge Multicultural Project’s newly-launched poster campaign. The Bridge MCP, which for two decades has advocated for social justice policies, is distributing the posters to schools, merchants and other commercial institutions at a time when such values are being devalued by the current presidential administration.
The posters read, “At The Bridge MCP, we proudly stand with our neighbors in the spirit of unity, respect and inclusion. We believe that a strong community is one where every person is valued and treated with dignity — regardless of race, religion or identity. We reject hate in all its forms. We embrace kindness, understanding and connection.”
Area schools wanting a poster should request it via: [email protected]. The NYC Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes is cosponsoring the initiative.
