Man arrested in Brooklyn basement murder

EAST MIDWOOD — JOHN ROSEAU, 32, was arrested on Friday for murdering his 26-year-old girlfriend, Dahana Jean, who was found with a neck injury in a basement at 1886 New York Ave. on June 13, according to police.

Roseau confessed in Buffalo, leading NYPD to the scene where Jean, who occasionally stayed there post-father’s death, was pronounced dead, with homicide confirmed by the medical examiner, the Daily News reported.
