DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN/CONEY ISLAND — A MECHANICAL PROBLEM ON A TRAIN AT KINGS HIGHWAY has disrupted B and Q service between DeKalb Avenue and Coney Island/Stillwell Ave., the MTA reported early Monday afternoon via Notify NYC at 12:49 p.m. MTA.info reports that B and Q trains are running on other lines, including the southbound N . Southbound B trains are running on the Q line from Brighton Beach to Coney Island-Stillwell Av. Northbound Q trains are running on the N line from Coney Island-Stillwell Av. to DeKalb Av.

Some of the MTA.info’s instructions about southbound trains appeared to contradict each other. Riders should listen for announcements to hear how their particular train will operate.

Riders on N northbound N trains should expect delays as they are sharing the track with the rerouted B and Q trains.
