Councilmember Justin Brannan officially opened a new campaign office this past Saturday, with no shortage of supporters in attendance, and psyched them up for the next phase of his reelection campaign.

The office, located at 8009 Fifth Ave., will be an addition to Brannan’s “government” office, on 82nd Street and Third Avenue.
“Today is about getting people fired up, getting out there and knocking on doors, and making sure people know that there is an election coming up on November 7 — making people know what’s at stake,” Brannan told the crowd. “And as we gear up for November, your support is crucial to our success.
“We’re exceeding what we promised to do,” Brannan continued, “and think we deserve another two years. I’m certainly not trying to change the world; I’m just trying to make your life just a little bit easier in the neighborhood where I grew up.”
Other speakers at the office launch included Senate Majority Leader and State Sen. Iwen Chu.
