Access Justice Brooklyn Gala to honor litigation powerhouse Faith Gay and real estate maven Nicki Livanos
On Oct. 11, 2023, the Brooklyn Museum will serve as the host venue for the much-anticipated Access Justice Brooklyn 2023 Gala. Beginning at 7 p.m. with a cocktail reception, this event will honor trailblazers in the legal profession, while fostering a commitment towards broadening access to justice for Brooklynites.
Access Justice Brooklyn operates with the conviction that providing legal support can significantly shift the balance of inequity in society. It views public service and legal advice as critical elements for defending rights and maintaining justice. The gala acts as the organization’s principal fundraising event, where funds raised are funneled directly to amplify the group’s substantial impact throughout the borough.
This year’s gala will bestow honors on Faith Gay, a founding partner at Selendy Gay Elsberg PLLC, and Nicki Livanos, director of real estate investments at Equitable. The Champion of Justice Award will be presented to AXA XL, a global commercial insurance and reinsurance firm, marking its outstanding contribution to the cause of justice.
